    changing my clocks in my astra mk3 to digital

    im considering buying some electric dials for my mk3 astra but am wondering how easy it is to do?

    anybody ever done it? could you give me a few pointers in the right direction as to how i would do it

    by electric clocks, i persume you meen gte digi style? if so its a matter of time and a lot of fettling to do it right! i put some in my mk3 cav,,same as mk3 astra, i joined all the wires at the back, soldered them and then used heat shrink to finish the job right. then its cutting the front off the digi and fabricating the front and rear off the mk3 clocks to fit.

    yea thats what i mean, sorry if i didnt go into much detail with my original post....

    sounds like theres alot of effort involved, is it really worth the hassle?

    if its done right,,,i think a guy on here sells them already done? and you can change the colours too!

    I do the colour change kits but I dont do any of the other conversions.

    The dash will fit into a MK3 but you'll need to modify the surround a little to make it look nice

    You redrill the trip reset button,in the mk3 plastic dash cover,then offer that to the digi dash and make the join good.
