    nova bumpers

    can anyone tell me if mk2 bumpers will fit on to a 1986 mk1 nova

    Yes but you'll have to drill behind the rear arch to fit the MK2 bumper mounts, front should fit straight on (?) but you'll have a gap between the MK2 bumper & MK1 grill / Headlights

    true, gap of about an inch between bottom of the headlights and top of front bumper, the rear arches on the mk2 nova are 5mm wider aswell pointless info but good to know

    for the front, irrc you can swap over the brackets.. they just bolt to the bumpers steel frame. ie put the mk1 brackets on the mk2 bumper.

    This changes how the bumper sits on the car and eliminates tha gap mentioned above.
    Think the mounting brackets on the wings need to be moved too.. with the way i've suggested.
    Do a google search.. i found a " how to" on a website when i was looking into this.
