HELP: access to broken nova glove box!

i really need to access my glovebox asap as my locking nut key is inside and i can't get in. the spring behind plastic handle snapped and now i can't open it, i tried to remove the whole box but there must be some screws inside the box securing it. if this can't be done soone, i'm going to have to take a hammer or axe to it as i'm getting some new brakes fitted to day. its a GSi too so it'll be a pain in the arse to get a new box!

Never changed one , but shouldn't be too hard to change the tumbler......presumably you just wrecked the catch bit and not the tumbler bit?
