    Ultimate underbody protection

Hi, ive got another red nova sri (may have see few pics on here, belonged to user called olster)
Anyway, the front inner arches have been stone guarded, and sprayed in flame red 2k. Planning on doing the same to the rear. And black stone guard on the sills.
Stuck what to do with the underside though:

Ideas are, clean/wire brush etc, paint with black hammerite, then in areas vulnreable to stone chips etc apply the black stone guard (as im goin to be using on the sills)

Or do i grey stone guard vulnerable areas, and get sumone to spray whole underside in flame red 2k?

Which will work better/be better in the long run?

Ps spare wheel well will be staying red regardless, as this is seen below the gsi rear bumper.

yeah that was the original plan, its just the weight of it all, it will take 4 or 5 cans, good few kg's, but then again, whats better a slightly heavy nova? Or a rotten one, lol

So another idea is to just clean/hammerite underside, then light covering of black stoneguard

clean it all off back to metal,
then use 3ms rubberised underseal,(can get you the part number is needed)
    its the best stuff,
    drys but stays rubbery,

What remove all original underseal then straigh on with 3m? Wont i have to paint to prevent rust before the 3m?

Ive got 5 cans of it and a gun 4 the compressor, was for old sri, but i just hammerited and brush on underseal.

Sorry for all the questions, but i want this to stay as factory condition as possible Dont want to have to do it all again in 6 months time or so

    no.
you can spray the 3m stuff right on to bare metal,
    its what its designed for,
then you can paint over the top of it,
its what i'm going be doing my archs in,

I think for me using bare metal - Zinc 182 (several coats) perhaps Hammerite (few coats) and a flexible underseal.
