    wheels

    hey people i'm after some OZ wheels and didn't know which size tyres i could get on my 2002 astra without rubbing. 205 or 215 / 17.

    Help much appreciated

    205 wud b ur best bet, its got a lower profile than the 215, but i dunno n e fin bout astras

    Those astras r pretty gd 4 large alloys. I got a mk3 but a m8 had that car with 18" alloys on em easy. just get a nice low profile, 35 or 40. dunno bout width tho....

    Astra G SRi 2.0 16v
    Standard sized tyres for Astra SRi/GSi/Coupe 17" alloys are 215/40/17, they give quite good rim protection too.

    I am going to opt for 215/45/17 tyres when I next change as I want a little more comfort and it won't effect the speedometer reading much either.

    There is loads of room under the MK4 arches, but what ET offset does the wheels have.

    how do you measeure the offset. anyway its going to be a while before i get the wheels now cause a ****ing bus cut me up on the roundabout on the 26/01 so the car is in a bit of a state.
