Im looking at fitting heated seats into a mk3 astra. Where is the wiring loom for the seats likely to be?
What car do i need the seats out of, to be a straight swap?
And will the rear seats fit aswell, to match the front seats?

Doesnt matter what they came out of for the front really (Stick to Vaux tho, and as close to astra as possible), if out of different car just stick them on some astra subframes. . . .
As for heated, i wasnt aware astra's ever had heated seats/the loom for this?
Not too hard to do, but takes time if you want to make your seats heated yourself, costs a little too!!
£15 - £20 a pad i think - can use the pads for any car really, and get the loom from that car, and wire it into yours!!
Mine are heated in my mk3![]()
Would have been an optional extra chosen by the first owner, who probaly paid a good few hundred for them!
If everything's under control, you're not going fast enough!
Well, see i was kinda hoping cavalier or calibra, or even omega seats would fit. And i havnt got a clue what back seats would fit...
my coupe seats are heated but arnt the best supportive things ive ever sat in
I used to be indecisive but now I am not quite sure
take the seats out of a calibra with leather they normally are heated the fonts just bolt straight in and the backs just need very little work to go in about 10 mins of work
What kind of work is needed for the backs?
Cutting i think! (The frame)
