    Door Cards Done!

    Well door cards should be in the car tomorrow, look like this at the mo



    also got the resprayed veccy handles to fit at the same time!!

    looks quite good, but kinda hard to tell with the lighting :/

    not sure i like the speaker cover though.

    how hard was it to do?

    Relitivly easy, but then i have re upholstered the entire interior, seats headling etc so compared it was pretty straight forward!

    will get some better pics up once there in the car tomorrow

    Nope. real leather, just very thick (nearly 2mm) polished, slightly harder wearing than the stuff i used on the chairs!! seeing as its gonna get kicked and beaten every time someone gets in and out of the car!!

    Right well all but the drivers door in and fitted, car needs a good clean but still look 1000x better than before!







    drivers original door in background and new passenger door, know which i prefer!!



    once the cars cleaned and finished i'll get a full range of better pics up!

    i made a decision that as quick as the gsi is its not a turbo and i'd rather by a proper turbo than spend loads on turbo'ing or going the TB route with this gsi.

    so i decided to invest my time and money in the interior and ice etc but keep it classy and do all the work myself.

    this is my car to cruise in and enjoy the experience of driving rather than ragging the nuts off it, still a quick car though none the less!!

    other than the foam from a local upholstery supplier, all from ebay loads of cheap leather etc on there
