Astra G front bumper top mount fixing?

Is this possible? The top mounting on the passenger side is broken. Half of the hole (?!) is missing. If that makes sense. Half of the outer circle that makes the hole is broken off!

Is this a listed part or is it just part of the bumper? Very annoying problem.

    Hi,

I don't really understand what you mean.

The plastic holes are part of the bumper from what I can remember..

Yeah, so they can't be replaces without the whole bumper being replaced. The holes are broken and are not making the bond with the screws.

Pictures would help, although it does sound like the bumper itself is causing the problem....

This is what has happened to mine too!!! Hmmm. I am not a good DIY'er so never thought of the small washer.

I will get to my hardware shop and have a looksie.

So going by that picture, its the star screw that goes up through the arch liner?

The bumper should hold itself really very well without it, and that just keeps it all in place.

As has been suggested, a washer should do the job :-)

I did try a washer but it kept falling out. I might have to try a few washers together or one thick one.

I got it totally wrong I thought you meant the 3 top holes on the bumper.

as Bryon mentioned, it should sit well without that bolt, mine did for a few days lmao
