    ET37 offset. Is this ok?

I'm afriad I don't know much about cars so be nice to me please

OK I have 15" alloys with an offset of ET37. Would that be OK to go on a standard Vauxhall Tigra with no mods?

I have them on now and everything seems fine, no rubbing etc but it just feels different to drive I can't really explain it!!! It wasn't like that with my standard alloys and tyres.

    I use to have 185/55/15's I think and now I have 195/50/15's.

It's not a huge problem but if anybody knows what I am talking about then post please!

ET49 actually, but it's very rare

    37 may cause you trouble

    Does anyone still remember me?

I would think you may get scrubbage on the bacjk loaded, but if you reckon it is ok then it may be fine.

The reason it will drive different will be cos of the stiffer tyres and the fact that each wheel will be sticking out 1.2cm over the originals!
Umm..... what to put. Answers on a PM to "Cav boy"

Yeah they do stick out slightly wider than the others....looks good!

I don't seem to be getting any rubbing though!

    Nothing !
I really would go for a nearer offset to ET49 , I had to obliterate my arches when i was running wrong offset 15"s for them to clear - now I run 16"s at ET45 and they are fine , even with a full engine in the boot I got no scrubbage. For the little extra wait for a more suited set you will save yourself a lot a hassle and cringing everytime your wheels catch . Good luck mate.
I only realised I was dyslexic when I turned up at a toga party dressed as a goat...........
