    GSi Bumper

After having 6 garages refusing to do my tracking for various reasons, i've decided to take my front bumper off to enable me to drive up a set of ramps.

My question is how easy is it to remove the front bumper from an Astra GSi??

How many bolts hold it on?

What is the Geo system Vauxhall use to align front wheels which costs £149

    Pretty easy terry.

BUT...easiest way will be for you to buy a Haynes manual!!

Basically jack front of car up

Then two bolts on each wheel arch

    Two on Fog Lights

Two clips right on bottom of bumper...

Then about 4-6 13mm bolts in and about behind the bumper.

best help i can give you mate really.....

    just get a haynes manual....

had mine off a few weeks back - 2 bolts fixed to each wing - accessable via the wheel arch, and 2 nuts on the front bumper- accessable from takin the grille off - bumper pulls clean off - remember to disconnect the fog lights and temp sensor

    Cheers lads.

Davey boy. I have got a haynes manual. Bought the day I bought the car. I'll be looking in the haynes on Sunday when the bumper comes off, just thought i'd ask on here.

I always buy a haynes for every car I own

    hehe, kewl

If you need a hand (and the MIG meet is/isnt on) maybe we could sort that then go over to southport for the meet?

I take it you've seen the threads re: a joint mindlands/northern meet?

I've not seen anything about a joint meet.
All depends what the outcome of my cracked sump is.
If its not fixed I don't fancy taking the chance of 4.5 litres of Castrols finest on Southport sandslmao

What time is it finishing as i'll have to get back in time to take my bumper off for monday morning
