Talking cav arches on a mk3 astra

    1) any pics of rear arches on a cav?

    2) would it be possible to make Mk3 Astra arches like Cav ones (with the little flared blended arches )

What might be easier is if you get MK3 Astra cabrio rear arch repair panels as the'll fit straight on. Although not sure where you get them as I've been told they are hard to get hold of.

i seen a standard(y) Cav in my little town, that was slammed, and it had these archs and 17" wheels crammed under it ... look fantastic .... the front was like a mk3 Astra LS BUmper so i rekon it should look ok

Give it a go. Think MK3 cav arch repair panels are only about £25 per side. Failing that, get some second had MK3 Astra front wings and try blending those in to the back. Oddball did that with his MK2 and that looked great!

Yeah, deffintaly. I've never seen a MK3 with rounded rear arches before. If yours need doing I reckon it would be a good idea as a project.

    Yours a 3 or 5 door?

Well guys mine is going in to have new arches fitted shortly cos mine are rusty as hell.

Chris i hate to be an idea thief but i think that i might give it a go cos it would be different and then if it aint all that good you can see what mine looks like.

P.S. i might also be getting Terry's wheels next month so will post pics when done.

    Watch this space.

im gonna be going to a few car auctions when im buying one. should be able to get a good one cheap, because you can have a mechanics report on it what i heard ...

and if the Maxxy Poo people can pick up a Cav SRi for £300 at an auction, i should be able to get a really cheap Mk3 1.4
