Get some 15"s and slam it.

Looks silly if you have 17"s on a Corsa IMO.

erm, u never heard of minimum wage? its like 3.58 for 16-17y/o 4.25 for 18-21y/o and 5.05 for 22+ get it sorted.

secondly, you dont NEED 17's they look far too big on corsas, some 16's would look nice as long as u get the right style, allesio2's look minted on corsas for example.

is the car lowered? if it aint, do that before even thinking about big wheels, cause it will just look sh!t with big wheels and no suspension.
have you got bigger brakes yet? corsa brakes are quite crap tbh. get some 2.0l calipers on there. much better. not only that, if u do get 17's with standard brakes it will look pap, cause all u will see is fresh air through the wheels.

thing is, the front bumper is very low to the deck, about 4-5 inches, and its not lowered yet, and im worried that if i put 16s on it and lower it (prob. 40mm) it will b too low 4 me 2 get out of my road!

dont get cally or cab turbo brakes,

I've already got turbo calipers, as I couldn't find any v6 ones in Italy...I know about redrilling discs, spigot rings and different prices of 284/288 discs/pads, but it's less costly to buy 284mm items here than buying a v6 complete kit from England with delivering

Totally agree. Don't 'understand' these huge gapping bumpers were you can see all the box section and rusty pipework through them. Even with mesh you can see it all....and as for mesh.......

You'll not get very good 17's for £500. Least not ones with decent tyres anyway.

Some very cheap ones ebay though.

Give the guy a break. If he likes his bumper and wants to keep it then i would recomend 17"s.
You will get a second hand set of 17" with decent tyres for around £200
You are looking for wheels 6inch wide with 4x100 stud pattern, and an offset of ET45. There should be plenty about

Either that or sell the front bumper, and get a set of 15"s, and lower it 40mm on a full suspention kit. But at the end of the day, do what you like, as its your car!

Wouldn't say my 17" alloys are too big for my Corsa! Suit the car very well IMO.
16" Allesios or Irmscher Softstars also look good. 15s are a bit small unless its lowered at least 60mm.

this a pic of my old Gsi lowered 40mm on 14" wheels the Gsi bumper is lower than most and has a 2" splitter on and it hit the ground when parking in car parks where they have kerbs in the front.
