Corsa Gsi Rear Seats

a mate of mines recently picked up some corsa gsi rear seats and on trying to fit them we've noticed that the rear part of the bench seems to have different mounting locations at the top

the original corsa seats had a kinda sliding mounting bar with multiple holes in it, where as the gsi seat just has a single locking pin similar to the ones fitted to novas

there doesnt seem to be anywhere to attach the single mounting lug either? is the rear quarterpanels different on certain corsas?

the GSi was an L plate and the car being fitted to is a P plate
