GSi Bumper onto 1.4i Merit - Fitment Issues

I've had the whole gsi kit in my garage for few months now, and waiting for new year before i put them on

Anyway, the mounting brackets are cracked, but planning on going over them with isopon or something to hold them

I am under the impression that the side skirts are fine, as is back bumper and spoiler

However, i never gave full consideration to the front bumper fitting on

Mine is a 96 phase 2 model and i simply assumed the bumper i got would go on

Dont know what phase it was, but am pretty sure it was off a 1.8 model as it has no fog light holes

I thought i read somewhere about a mounting bar? is that on the car itself or on the bumper?

Any gen on this guys?

It should be on the bumper if the bar was undone with the bumper.
Its the part that has two threaded studs on that go into the car shell and bolt in from behind.

I think thats what the mounting bar is anyway, unless gsi is different to a std bumper.

im doing this just now to my astra mate..you need gsi splash gaurds aswell(arsh liner)the standard ones are to short and dont reach the bumper
