    Subaru Scoop

After speaking to Richard Bell, the scoop on Rob F's bonnet (which Ive got) is beyond repairable (especially if I dont want it cracking every month) so Im gonna have to get a new one.

Where can I get one that is of good quality and not too harsh on the wallet?

    Cheers

P.S. Dave says GM Scooby vent...whats he think Iam...made of money

Well, the holes already there, and the scoop was the main reason I bought if off Rob, neither of us knowing it was that bad...plus I like it.....why? Any better ideas?

It's only the filler that's gone in it round the edges Adam. You don't need another one, just take out the old one, clean it up and rebond it into position. The thing that
made it lift in the first place was the heat that Rob's engine produced. Since
you have a 2.0 8v it shouldn't do it again.

SImon - the reason why he needs a new one is because the heat has distorted the scoop and made a mess of it, its also made a mess of the filler around it.

THe filler literally needs to be gouged out all around the scoop area and have new filler, along with new vent to be put onto the bonnet.

Scoope didn't look distorted to me, but I guess it must be if it's lifting.
