    Nova Headlining

Aint got a clue about Nova headliners. I have this faux suede material I picked up a while back to do some seats. But I am now considering using it for my Nova headlining as the stock white material has got staining on it probbaly from previous damp issues that now do no exist.

Has the nova headliner have a cardboard backing on it like the MK3 cav's? Coz it dnt feel like it has.

And what would be the best way to go about removing it? I feel as it wont be as simple as the Cav liner I removed.

    Any info would be helpful

    Thanx in advance

no theres no backing, to remove, simple pull back all door seals and windscreen, then heat edges with a hair dryer or similar to soften the glue, then gently peel off. Once edges are peeled off you will see the metal rodds that run accross the car, theese simply in-hook from the roof skin.

Easy to remove, more difficult to diy an aftermarket one i would have thought (but not impossible with a bit of time and planing)

    will do.

Do I also need to buy the plastic clips that keep the roof grab handles in place? Heard that when you go to remove them they get lost into the holes.

    cheers mate
