Number plate illumination - Help!

Electro Lumenecant sheet - as used in the dial kits. Should shine through the plate no probs.

Sounds brilliant idea, different altogether. back illumination like in back lit TFT screens, you will need a HV inverter, and a lot of whether sealant to keep moisture and dust out.

As illustrated in the ‘shopped photo below, I’m having the back end of the Astra smoothed out as much as possible, and one of the bits being removed it the number plate light on the bumper. I want to mount something under the weather shield which will do the job.



Any suggestions? Any other models I could use for a donor? Has anyone else had this problem, and how did ya solve it?
