    Morette Fitting

    Hello all,

    Has anyone fitted a Morette quad headlamp and grill conversion to a Mk3 Astra GSI??? I recently got a set(second hand) but there dont seem to be a hope in hell of the grill fitting with the GSI bumper.Any help greatly appreciated otherwise they will be going up for sale

    you need to remove the lights and indicators as well as the top section of grill. you the remove the end grill fixings from the wings. you then put the grill on the car and fix it to the top light mounts and the lower side fixing piont then put the indicators in ond bolt them up from the bottom side (best to remove the battery and air box so you can get to the bolt ok.

    if you still cant sort it out im sure i have some pics of mine as i was fitting them.

    if you do sell them let me know as i would like first refusal

    Cheers Dave but what you said makes no sense to me.At the moment I have my standard GSI grill,standard headlights and indicators removed.My problem is the Morette grill dont look like it will fit due to the shape of the top of the GSI bumper.

    On the top of the astra gsi front front there are a number of bits (abs)pertruding upwards towards the bottom of the grill.These are restricting fittment.I had to just file down the bits pretruding up to allow flush fittment.If you dont then the space is restricted between the top of the bumper and mounting points on the front valance.
