Mk1 nova tyre question

ive got a 1989 Mk1 nova and a full set of 15" Astra sport alloys (ET49)

can i fit 195/50/15 tyres without it scrubbing the arches??

currently got 195/45R15 on 15" rims with offset of 42

45% comapred to 50% is a big difference in wall height though 10mm to be precise and a much different offset

Yep, I had 195/50/15s on mine and it was lowered a bit.

Think so, possibly less (which would be worse).
