mk 4 Astra 5 stud conversion ???

Just bought myself an astravan on a 99v reg with 4 stud hubs and im looking to put a set of sri turbo wheels on her (5 stud) .

Ive got the wheels but im after any info i can get on converting the rear end ?????

Is it possible to get hold of five stud drums or is it a disc conversion ??

found the wheels today on ebay from a bloke who lived 2 mile away !
He didnt have a clue what they where he just bought them for the tyres he got them home and realised his wheels were 18s so i gave him 240 for em !

Find a 5 studder in the scrappy, and swap front knuckles and rear stub axles over.

If you have rear drums, you want the handbrake cable and whatever other bits are related.

If you find an SRI, it may be worth getting the suspension too, as it'll be much tighter than the old van stuff.

I was going to look for a sri for the five studs but wasnt sure on the rear disc thing ?

A mate of mine says he can get my drums converted by a local engineering firm who will make them 5 stud ?

Dont know if i fancy it sounds a bit like a bodge !!

Its easy enough converting to 5 stud i think. Will need rear bearings, disks, calipers, hand brake cable/brackets. On the front, will also need bearings, disks, calipers.
