    Rust on rear arch

One of my rear arches is starting to get a little bad on rust, its not really really bad, but its getting worse? What can I do to sort it? I can get rid of surface rust and anything on other cars, but don't really wanna do it on this, as I don't wanna **** it up, having the paint not matching properly as well as it's pearlescent. Any ideas?

If it's small, you can do it in an afternoon, and then get it sprayed by someone else.

I just sand it back, it's usually larger underneath than on top, and there's probably more underneath. I did mine, a few bubbles revealed the whole arch was hanging off. The waxoyl and paint was holding it together. I replaced both of mine with full arches before the winter came.

I've just done the rear arches on my vectra.

just sand blasted the rust off, etch primered then stonechipped them.

I'll be sparing the base coat and laquer on monday

The only way to get rid of rot is to cut it out and replace.
