Tyre and rim sizes for 18's on Calibra

I have just bought a nice Calibra V6 with 18's on. The tyres are 215/35/18, and look to narrow for the rims. What size tyres should I be running, and what rim size?
For sale, Calibra bits. Two Stainless exhausts. One stainless decat. Airbag. Lots of bits lying around.

depends on the rim width, but 215s are as wide as you can go on a cally with a sensible offset (45-49)

215's are the only tyre you can run on a lowered Calibra on 18's without scrubbing. Anything else means more work, and higher risk of scrubbing.

    My 225/40/18's were a nightmare

    Stick to what you have!

Its not lowered, but will be. Will have to check the rim size then. Could be poor rim protection tyres I suppose.
