    Hmm door dilema? (Nova)

I've bought a second-hand drivers door with NO-RUST to replace mine, which does have some rust around edges (not too much but enough to get on my nerves).

Unfortunately I cant do much myself, so I might have to pay someone to help me to swap the door (including glass/locks/etc).

The 'new' door is the same colour (white). But the trim is different (trim is currently TD SX - grey strip with red line in the middle). I was sort of hoping to just take all the trim (strips) off, without having to respray both sides - I thought i might just get away with a good clean/polish. But I'm not sure if the strips are held on by rivets, which may leave nasty holes in the door & side, which would need filling in & respraying.

    So should I...

    (a) put the new door on and take off all the strips etc.
    (b) put the new door on to the car and put the old strip on to the new door, so that it matches the rest of the car.
    (c) leave the old door on and try to remove the rust and then respray that. And sell the new door.

I didnt want to spend too much money (cause I havent got too much), but i think this job may be becoming more difficult/expensive than I immagined.

    Any suggestions...

new door and take off the strips mate, ohh when taking the door off the top pin goes down and the bottom pin goes up, and its best to have a mate handy, you don't want the door falling on the floor

its not swapping the actual door that i would find difficult, its all the glass & lock mechanism, etc.
