take off the interior pannels and pop most of it back otherwise it will probably crack if you do it right shouldnt need that much filler

    Right here we go.

Cant afford to replace the panel before any body says. Cheaest quote i got was £300 for paint and labour.

Vaux want £215 for a panel.

My mom said if i tidy it up she will have off me for herself and my sister whos just started learning.

basically hit is so you get most of the dent to the outside, dont worry about over doing it cos you can beat it back in skim with filler should be fine, just grind any rust thats formed out otherwise your wasting your time

try a length of wood and try and knock it along rather than out, the less filler the better, you could always drill some holes in and insert some course threaded self tapping screws and use them to pull on to pull the dent out but if push comes to shove id try and level it with some fibreglass filler first

    Hmmmmm......
Other thing i could do is fiberglass it....Then smooth that out, fill the little pips...

Or we have a fiberglass filler at work called "FIBRAL"

u wont get that wid normal filler as it will jus crack not long after coz u will need a lot of filler, i work for a collision repair centre well 2nd largest in country an we would replace that we would never fill it, but u might get away with fiberglass have u tried to get a non genuine panel they usually loads cheaper then vauxhall
    drive like u stole it

personally i would try and borrw a slide hammer, drill a few small holes in the deepest stuff and then try and pull them out best possible.

weld the holes up caused by the hammer, and full the rest with fiberglass filler

i'd replace the whole rear 1/4 on that, looks pretty bad, you'd never get it looking perfect with filler - if you are thinking of filling it, then you must have some idea about what you are doing... replacing it yourself wont be too expensive

    ditto

I tried doing a MK3 escort with similar damage.

about 6 holes and slide hammer to bring it almost out far enough, then fibre glass and filler.

Never could get it looking right.

Thats major dentage! TBH, from working in a bodyshop (around cars) that would prob cost more in filler than a panel And you wont need to worry about bashing the dents out, because there need bashed in more to level the top out.

If that was me, id just bin the car tbh. Aint worth doing anything with inless you get it repair in a local bodyshop and prob pay alot. But if you every get it sorted (filler wise) id paint it for you for a few ££'s

Dude.. just buy a 2nd hand panel from a breakers or something.. won't cost u that much.. look around to get one the same colour as your cars.. then no painting required.

Ur never gonna get it looking that good with filler..

You will need to paint it. how are you gonna connect the rear quater to the B/C Post? lmao

Old one needs cut out and new o ne welded into place, then any minor repairs done to new panel, then painted.

Agreed. Replace rear quarter. Too badly damaged IMO to repair.
