    My New GSi-Grill Morettes

Need to wire them up now. At the moment one single headlight seems really bright as it is!
Any one got any info on wiring them up?
    Any tips on fitment?

Think I'll get it sprayed body colour ... not sure I want to keep it black now. Does look rather mean, but would need a GSi bumper to go with it too.

on my cav i had them wired up seperatly via relays, direct to the battery - made my own sunshine that did

Very nice there with the hardcore front, should spray the whole car matt black!! Only prob IMHO is that the indicators now look.... well errmmmm.... odd!!

Hmm. Now that it's daylight and I actually tried fitting etc ... I'm so disappointed

Quality of fitment, tbh... is ****e. Basically same as fitting headlights .. grill just happens to be in between. Top 2 screws fit, but bottom two don't at all.
The bulbs on each side are joined to the main casing by an intermediate plastic casing ... fitment of this is absolutely crap too. Consequently there's a god-almighty gap between the main casing and the bulb unit.

Other than that, there's a few bits of rust and a crack ... but I was aware of this beforehand anyway, so I'm not gonna bitch about that. Except that one bulb-securing screw was so rusty it just snapped, but I'm going to resolve this separately.

Not sure what to do now. I don't have a grill, as I decided to take a breaker abr to it ...... Buy some brand new "normal grill" Morettes (**** me are they expensive!! And will need to get it sprayed up to match).. or just a different grill?

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
    Grr, blah.

I dont like them imo. Dont think twin headlights look right on a mk3 astra....might look better when bodycolour

I personally don't like the incorporated grill

    I like Nicky's versions though

I'm sure you'll make your money back on eBay, should you decide you dislike them also

remove your front indicators and weld the hole up. would look alot nicer and would make the morettes look a more standard fit.

i HATE the way they look where they meet the wings, make the indicators look small and silly.

love morettes tho, think there a nice addition.

gotta be reiger mate, best looking grill by far. if you wanna be different you could cut the middle slat out of the reiger grill and have it open. it also looks good on a standard car aswell as a modified car.

I'm not sure TBH, think it would look much nicer if you had a GSi front bumper.
