my car has black door handles same as vectra ones and is going in for a spray soon, can i just get another one from the rear doors and put it on my front passanger side and get rid of the lock or are they different fittings ?

Yes you can. I have put rear vectra handles on my cav all round. Just make sure you get the backing plate with it (Or you can redrill your ones).

Tom,

U can use the existing backing plate from the front passenger side door handle.

U will need to remove the key barrel from the backing plate, when I did this on my Cavvy the holes lined up perfect so NO drilling required.
