Metallic as it will shine a lot nicer

Ask yourself this: Would 50 Cent drive a matt black car? NO! lmao

mate go for matt black easier to paint when its a solid colour. and to get a really nice shine a nice coat of laquer would go nice.

Mate of mine done this to a red nova once. Solid red with laquer finish. MIRROR shine.

    looked the mutts n*ts

Do you actually mean matt black, or just non-metallic? Matt only works on lead sleds and rat-rods.

OK. Matt black is matt - ie it has no gloss/shine and will look cr*p on a Nova imho. I think what you want is what is known as solid colour direct gloss black - ie black and shiney straight out of the tin without the need for laquer.

Metallic paint contains small 'flakes' of aluminium giving a sparkle. Solid black is just as shiney, just doesn't have the sparkle.

matt black says "I couldn't be bothered to paint the car properly".

most cars in matt finish look rubbish. Some of the satin jobs look nice though, especially satin pearls...
Its better to burn out than to fade away. So long as theres not a police car behind you at the time...
