    clearance probs

Fitted a set of corsa c sxi alloys on the nova today. On the rear there is only about half a centimetre between the tyre and the plastic cover on the shock. The tyres are only 185. The problem is i'm planning on fitting a different set with 195 on et.49 in the near future and am worried they will rub. Is the offset of the corsa wheels not et49 or am I missing something???

    Thanks,
    Lauri

hi the offset for a corsa is corsa 00> PCD 4*100 OFFSET 37 TO 45 AND THE BORE 56.6

And the nova 84> PCD 4*100 OFFSET 40 TO 45 AND THE BORE 56.6
    I hope this helps.

It would do if you actually knew what the hell you were talking about and stoped spouting stuff that you had no experiance of on a forum rather than copying it from a website that was incorrect in the first place

But to answer the question you may need to space the wheel very slightly to clear the shock, i had to space my comp mo's that were 16inch but 7" wide on a 49mm offset about 3mm to clear the rear shock dust cover - the 195 tyre will be about 5mm closer to the shock over the 185 tyres you have now, its a case of shove them on and see the design of the tyre wall makes fitting a little easier basically shove them on you may be lucky, you may need a few mil spacer either way its not expensive to sort

Just had a look on corsa crazy and it says the offset for corsa c is et38 so presumably the wheels i've just put on are et38! No wonder they're close to the shock! When I get round to sticking the other wheels on they should be all good then.
