That a 60mm rear drop on an astra mk3 with 17"s with a stupid 38offset doesnt work!
So either gonna be an massive angle grinder job, proper fitting wheels, or 40mm only.
GRRR. Front 40mm is fine though

How bad do they rub?
I have ET35mm on my 3 door Astra and they completely clear all my arches.
is it lowered at all though?
Yes by 35mm, but they completely clear anyway, so it could be dropped to the bump stops and it would still clear.
What width rims/tyres are you running?
you cant angle grind a offset on alloys/wheels... your totaly screw up the balance and kill your self!!!!
i doubt 2mm offset difference will cause a massive difference. what tyres are you running.
paul0 - i think hes thinking of grinding the arches, rather than the mating faces of the wheels, lol, either that or he is insane![]()
BRB
when the gagged ones are reinstated
No no no ... grind the inside lip of the arch back!!!! lmao at the thought of my insanity ... knowing me I'd probably seriously consider it!
If not roll the arches back?
Problem is, we reckon that even when that's done they'll still mash into the arch wall .. it tapers up....
7" wide, normal 205/40s.
ah right. would make sense, fewww![]()
