    Corsa Spoilers

Ok I'm fed up of the back end of my corsa lookin like such a family hatch.

I've seen all the 5dr spoilers out there for it (i think) and hate each one i've seen on a car :P

If you take a look at the pic you can see my boot and lights are different from the 3dr model, I want to customise my own spoiler to fit on, that would look like a GSI spoiler, or one of a nissan almera (both quite similar) is there any way you can bond the outer parts of the spoiler, cut out the centre section and bond that part to the boot, so that the spoiler separates when the boots lifted? any advise on what to do or a place that could help me would be much appreciated.

cheers - heres the link to the back end - http://img293.echo.cx/my.php?image=rearsmoked8ux.jpg

    Hiya Jay,

Not amazing but there are some 5 door spoilers on here:

    http://www.tuningshop.co.uk/acatalog...orsa_B_87.html

Or you can buy a gsi rear spoiler and add this Inta top rear spoiler on, dunno if they do it dor 5 door but I will try and find out 4u!!

    http://www.m-99.co.uk/Car_Bodykits/V...all_corsa.html

In the Aerodynamic section on here:

    http://steinmetzdirect.com/products.asp?model=2

one on here but a bit square, not as bad as the 5door gsi spoiler though:

    http://gxauto.co.uk/catalog/default....743fedc563f467

Just phoned these people up at stx styling and they said they do this cyclone rear spoiler for the 3 door and the 5 door!!

    http://www.stxstyling.co.uk/StxStyli...t.php?pnum=678

Just phoned POTN, they said the Carzone Corsa B Rear Spoiler will definately fit a 5 door, and the CCM Corsa B Karnage Rear Spoiler will fit a 5 door but only on top of a gsi spoiler!!!

    http://www.potn.com/corsa-spoilers_c..._3042_3986.htm

If you want to go with the idea of getting a gsi spoiler and adding to it, there are some on ebay!!!

    http://search.ebay.co.uk/corsa-b-gsi...fkrZ1QQfromZR8

That's all I've found so far, I'll get back to you if I see anything else worthwhile!!

Hope I've been of some help
    Good Luck
    Regards
    Amy

The last one I looked at wasn't a carzone spoiler but there's no harm in looking!! It is for a 5 door corsa b, newly listed with 9 days to go, no bids with £0.01 starting bid:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=23012&item=7980171395&rd=1

£169 inc VAT on here plus £20 delivery charge:

    http://www.street-racers.co.uk/racer_shop_carzone.htm

I rang Demon-Tweeks for you today (was bored), and they said they do the carzone spoiler for the 5 door, I think that most of the dealers do. It is £150 exc VAT!!!

    http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalo...CODE=HIL102400

£184.95 on here with free delivery:

    http://www.m8auto-tec.co.uk/catalog/...ducts_id/70584

£169 inc VAT plus £20 delivery charge on POTN:

    http://www.potn.com/-_c2750_3039_3042_3986_p2102465.htm

£176.99 inc VAT from here, doesn't say anything about delivery charge though:

    http://www.edworthys.co.uk/prodlist....993%20-%202000

£179.44 on here that's including delivery charge and VAT:

    http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/fra...r-body-kit.htm

    £169.95 on here:

    http://www.midlandstyling.co.uk/prod...oducts_id/4466

    £159.95 on here:

    http://www.illusionautostyle.co.uk/p...bf6725b37fa0a4

Huge body kit stock clearance on here it says for trade but I'm sure you can get round that!!! £100 on here but dunno if he still has them as it says there are 2 available and once they're gone, they're gone!!! So hopefully the other people reading this post won't get there b4 u if u decide to get it from here lol!!

    http://www.ukclassifiedads.co.uk/car...ARANCE1586.php

One on here for £150 plus £15 delivery charge:

    http://www.performance-toys.co.uk/ac..._Bodykits.html

Few more spoilers on here, no carzone though!! They do the full kit but I've seen it cheaper elsewhere:

    https://www.abstyling.co.uk/catalog/...h=37_1285_1291

    £175 on here:

    http://www.corsacentre.com/pages/Sho...ProductID=1592

    Postert Roof Spoiler Ref: O214016
Corsa B 3/5 Door - limited availability (not carzone but again, no harm in looking) £150.40:

    http://www.tuningshop.co.uk/acatalog...orsa_B_87.html

That's all I can remember clicking on so far, most of the prices are about the same anyway, only a few that are dirt cheap compared with the rest!!!

    Anyway
    Good Luck Jay

You can get that gsi style spoiler for the 5 door and add to it though, for example buying a karnage rear spoiler to bond on to the gsi spoiler!!

Or the Inta spoiler also fits to the car in this way!!

Yeah I clicked them, guess there is more 5 door spoilers than I thought. Carzone do a nice looking spoiler for nissan almeras. Nothing too crazy, looks quite subtle. I'd imadgine it would be quite easy to modify to fit the corsa.

that was one of my first idea fragpot, my friends dad drives one and i have measured it up before and should fit on ok, but if the boot lifts up it would still cause a problem, carzone spoiler is v nice but from lookin at the pics i reckon ill have the same problem, guess i need to just get hold of one and break it to pieces and fit it in 3 sections - sides, and middle. middle being connected to the actual boot, and the sides on the rear pillars above the lights??

Chamfer the ends, chop/add to the middle to make it the right width. Reconnect with fibreglass. Stick it to the glass.

You wouldn't be able to cut the spoiler and attatch the sides to the bodywork and the middle section to the actual boot, as the strips of bodywork either side of the boot lid are too narrow!!! As your boot lid goes round almost on top of the roof, where the spoiler joins (on the actual boot lid) would be level with the roof not the gap where the hinges are, and would therefore give you enough room to open the boot!! It shouldn't effect it!! If you look at the gsi style spoiler on the 5 door corsa, you can see that the sides that come down from the spoiler are on the boot itself, not the bodywork!! It's hard to explain but I'm trying my best... I am a girl what do you expect!! lol
    see:

    http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...l%3Den%26lr%3D

Just have a look at this 5 door, its not brill but it doesn't really look like a family hatch!! They've just got a tiny spoiler on but it doesn't have the side sections that come down like the gsi style spoiler!! This pic is only to show you what someone else has done, it might not be of any relevance I dunno, I was just trying to show you that the spoiler fits to the boot and not the bodywork!! Anyway:

    http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...lr%3D%26sa%3DN

I'm really sorry, can't find anything else!!! Ive searched the net inside and out!! I even went inside the computer myself on a mad mission to look for 5 door corsa b mods.
Although people produce and supply the mods, where are the pictures???
It might have to be a job for photoshop i think!!!

Anyway, soz i couldn't find anything on my wild journey surfing the net, i'll keep my eyes peeled for anything and everything I can to do with 5 door mods!!

Soz again boss... I understand if you don't pay me this month as I haven't done my job properly today!!!

    SORRY!!!

    Luv Amy

    Boss???
Have you thought about selling your car and either getting a 3 door corsa or a completely different car altogether that is actually easy to get mods for with no complications? Then you can actually see the mods on the car before deciding whether you like it or not!!
Or would that be giving in too easily??
I'm partly saying this coz I'm really p*ssed off that I can't find anything else and feel like I haven't done my job properly!!!
    PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSE don't sack me!!! lol

hehe not gonna :P I dunno I've thought about buyin a 3dr, but then again theres more modded 3drs than 5drs. Also I can see what you mean about the spoiler, i've seen it on cars though and it looks a bit square for the actual car, doesn't flow together nicely, but there are some others u've found that i like the look of. thanks - yeah u'll get payed lmao

    YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
    How Much??? lol
Which spoilers do you like the look of then???
I wasn't saying to get the gsi spoiler by the way coz i think it looks sh*t too, as I doesn't flow with the contour lines and shape of the car!!

Anyway, It's down to you now boss.

    My work here is done!!
