Stole a subaru vent the other week and wanted it fitted for PV so took a trip to my bodyshop on saturday to get it all done
Here is a quick guide of how they did it:
Obtain Vent and Paint to Required Colour

Mask up Bonnet and line base of vent up where you want it
![]()
Draw round base and mark up where you want to cut out, drill holes in each corner accordingly
![]()
Cut out marked space with relevant tool - in this case an airsaw
![]()
Trim up the edges to make it tidy and admire your chunk of bonnet

Fit base of vent from underneath to check sizing
![]()
Rivet in Place

Rivet base of scoop to bonnet also, and bond the front - tape down until it sticks
![]()
Enjoy looking over your new scoop, and enjoy inlet temps (if you have TBs) of ambient....awesome

OK, I guess it's abit of a chav-vent. But its genuine, it's been fitted very well and the car is sooo much better for the cooler air. Well chuffed
Thanks for reading.
