mk3 with projector headlamps fitted (pic)

Saw this at PVS, only mk3 i saw all day with them, and the only time i've seen them fitted.

Looks like a nice fit too - anyone know who's car it is?

that looks really nice, shame the ones i had were a poor fit.

got mine from bodykits.uk.com and were made by sakura but there was a gap of about 1/2 cm at the sides so wasnt flush to the car.

i prefer the darker version too mate, but i think they're a bit harder to get hold of.

I'm thinking i'll get the dark ones and the black tinted MTS jewel rear clusters too, eventually.

These are aftermarket direct replacements, should go straight in without too much hassle, but they're for the phase 2 front end, so you'll need the grill from a post 96 car if you have a phase 1.

The group buy will be for the rear clusters i mentioned not these headlamps, do a search for MTS clusters/rear lights or something like that.

yes i have phase 1 the front grill its not a problem its not expensive non genuine

who sells these front headlights

Is it only me that thinks thay look crap all that chrome it looks like lexus head lights...

Now if you make them black or colour code them thay look better ...

i'm not sure i understand the point of your photoshop mate, they look like the quad lights now that have been around for years, the black versions are much nicer looking.

Take the glass off then paint the chrome backing put the glass back on .. its a PS and Im not to good at painting glass ..

IMO I can't see the resemblance with the plastic surrounded Morette heads and the new all in one unit thats had the chrome back painted?

Looking at the pic these lights look as if thay have spring clips holding the glass/plastic in place but I cant be 100% shure.. anyone here have a set to check ?

got a set on mine have got to check the rubber seals round the outside as they dont seem to fixed very well bit of superglue sorts it. shake about abit aswell couldnt find a fixing for the bottom only fixed at the top but that could be me

Jimbo - sorry mate i see what you mean now, those coloured versions do look good, it was just in the first pic the colour looked a bit too solid.

there is only 2 fixings at the top of the light sets which is the same as originals but the original ones also have a fixing at the bottom as well to stop it shaking about.

this is also one of the reasons i returned my set.
