roll cage for mk3 astra

hi there again, just wondering where the best place to go for a 4 point roll cage for a mk3 astra. i don't want a big, expensive, weld-in one, purely just for the looks. i've tried the safety devices and demon tweeks websites, but no joy. there must be somewhere that can sell these ready made and off the shelf (so to speak)...........? can you help?

Is there any way of keeping the rear seats and being able to use them with a cage?

Thanks Turbo matt beat me to it.

The Cage to fit is pritty simple, it bolts to the top seat bealt anchor and goes over the metal bar at the bottom of the seat belt, requires an bit of twisting and messing about, roughly 30mins job but its worth the hassle.

Hope this helps

The rear legs rest against the seats, so if youve got no rear seats, you will have a massive gap and the cage wont suit. Give mps a ring as they will have all the information you need.I would have thought they would be able to do one without having to drill into the bodywork and should have one which they can make to suit your needs. There a guy on here that just had one done by fusion with no rear seats, looks good.

If vouve taken out the rear seats, your best off getting the bolt in one like mine.

Hi,
we make two types bolt in (rear seats usually have to be removed) and seat belt mounted (interior stays as)
if you have removed your rear seats then will need a bolt in as it will look silly.

are the seats the only thing you have to remove? one concern of mine is that i'm 6 foot 4, and i have the front seat as far back as possible, i'm worried i'm going to knock myself out everytime i sit in the car! will there be sufficient clearance between the seat and the cage? cheers

You can get 6 point OMP cages that are meant for show use - come in black ready for colour coding/chroming.

Very practical

thanks for the replies people decided on going for the mps cages, single diagonal. keep the pictures coming! anyone recommend me a colour for the cage? my interior is black astra sport interior, with black buckets and lots of silver here and there. do i do the cage in a silver, or do i go for something else? i was thinking about a red, but i can't decide. help!
