Number plate surrounds ?? good? bad? cally

Just got some new plates for my calibra and also won some carbon number plate surrounds on ebay for 99p

    same as these but carbon:

but after looking through all the galleries of calibra`s not one has them on?

In your opinion are these cheap kev looking when fitted ??????????????

also dunno how the front one would be fitted as the calibra front bumper is curved ! lol

The chrome ones are definitely tacky IMO.... same as Lexus lights and that kind of thing.

But... carbon ones could look good on the right car. What colour is your car? I'd be interested in a couple of pics for my website when it's fitted.

the cars a rare dark green, only seen one other calibra with same paint

Dont think theres any way to use the front one anyway, the bumper is too curved for it, might leave em off

Any advice on what id use to stick the plates straight to the car?

The rear has a layer of foam underneath? doubt ill get any dbl sided tape to stick to that? do i need to peel it all off ? or do you recommend drilling the plates like before?

Also any1 here stuck the front plate on? its so curved will i need to drill ?

    Cheers in advance

you can buy number plate mounting pads for about a quid - like double sided sticky tape with a bit of foam in the middle

    try your local halfrauds ect....
