If your that mad about them, have a look on EPC.

Cavaliers in japan had them fitted.
Personally I think they make the cars look stupid.
Usful I guess if you live down a narrow road though

My Mum's Jag had the mirror ripped off (£400 to replace!!) and it was probably BECAUSE OF the mirrors being folded in that some twonk thought 'oooh look a posh git with folding mirrors... yoik!'

I reckon they make you a target

depends how chavvy ur area is. I've walked down the street before seen about 7-8 cars in a row with mirrors either hanging off or on the floor
i agree that it can make u a target cos some ppl will be like 'that wont stop me from breakin it' but yeah if ur on a narrow road sounds like a good plan of action

Not being funny but my area isn't chavvy at all. I think because you make the effort to close them it draws attention. You always get the jealous ****s who have to do it!!

Don't get me wrong - if you can figure it out I want to know how you did it

yeah theres always some one who gets pissed off, but there always is unfortunately - dont think u can escape that, even if u had a nice car with wing mirrors out, say it had a nice paint job, its likely to get keyed etc...u just cant win unless you have a garage :P

My mates import scooby has them and he always leaves em folded in and no ones ever tried yanking them off. Mine you saying that the prelude and evo my other mates drive fold in too and no ones tried it with them either... and I think most midlanders know how 'chavy' some areas in wolves are

i know laguna's and seat leons have them fitted leon wing mirrors might not look too bad on a cally, was thinking about this a while ago after having a wing mirror knocked out.

On a similar note, although not quite.

I noticed my mums Mondeo moves the mirror glass down when you engage reverse, so you can see the curb/road better whilst reversing.

Very cool. Should be easy to implement too.
