Interior Light Delay - Ford Relay

After searching, I've come to believe that if I replace the relay for the interior light with a ford one, I can have a delayed courtesy light.

Is this the case or is there more to it than that? The current light has an ultrasonic sensor in it, if thats any help.

There isn't a relay on Vauxhalls.

    You can add one though.

you can't fit a Cav/Calibra/Carlton/Senator light, as the Astra has the Ultrasonics built into it.

I got an interior light from a Vectra which fitted straight into my Mk3 electric sunroof and that has a timed delay!

Have you got the Factory alarm though?

the Ultrasonics are in the standard Light.

Vectras Delay is provided by the Multitimer, it won't delay in an Astra.

Cavalier ones have the delay in the light.
