    Exclamation need help please

    ive got a mk3 astra 3 door 1.4 i want to smooth the tailgate but ive took the number plate off and there is 2 solid washers where the screws any ideas how to get them off. also how do i get my old gear nob off its lift up resevse

    not sure bout ya tailgate but my gear nob jus twisted off.. mite have to be abit forceful with it but it'l come eventually.

    Plastic washers pop out from the inside. Take the inside trim and you can squeeze the two lugs together and they pop off. Or just get a small screw driver, insert through hole, wiggle and it should eventually come out.
