    How many point harness's? (Nova)

Looking at some harness's for the Nova and just wonder if theres any difference/advantage having 3 or 4 (or more) point fixing?
    Found some on eBay:

Does anyone have any pics of harness's in a Nova?

    Thanks, Mazz..

i got 4 point harnesses in mine with no back seats. Jonlem has 3 point in his with back seats. suppose there would be no problems having them the other way round!
    just depends what you want

    Anything is possible really.

I have 2x 4point harnesses in my nova and it has rear seats. I have used the mounting points for the bottom of the seatbelt and the holder, and bolted some 'eyes' on 10mm (i think) bolts, with washers on them, through the standard bolt holes. This means that the original rear seatbelts still function, for MOT purposes, and the front belts are secure. However it means that the rear passengers (although very rare in my nova!) have to straddle the rear belts, and as usual the lads complain that they dont want to do this for obvious reasons lol!........ but thats their problem not mine!

fk it, if you dont carry more than one passenger at any time then go for 4point harnesses, but tbh anything more than 4 is a bit excessive for road use. Only when you actually start doing stage rallys and have to comply to full FIA spec do you have to worry about a 5th or 6th mounting point for belts.

no rear bench = piss easy then for 4 points, cus you just use the bottom mount for the original front belt, and the original holder too. - couldn't be easier

remember to post pics when you have the belts in lol

I got some red Sparco 3 points in the end, just put one and wondered where and how everyone has fixed the inside point by the handbrake?

From what i remember olly welded a plate in by the hand brake and made a mounting hole through that.

i used my original subframes and used where the seatbelt clip used to bolt to for the handbreak side, on the door side mine ar attached to where the seatbelt usually loops round that metal bar, took the metal bar off and used its mounting hole for the harness

I might have to modify the old seatbelt clicker part and fit it to the subframe some how. They are Astra mk3 subframes, how are the clicky bits mounted normally in mk3's?
