I have seen 18s on a corsa they look pretty mint!
The lad who had them had the car lowered 40mm and it only rubbed when he had people in the back.
Work out the extra rolling radius with tyres and you'll be surprised at how small the difference is
do it mate, ive got 18s on me nova khan rsr, 18"x7.5" 45 offset,

as long as you dont need to go round corners at any pace
