Having just aquired a second set of league 037's, have set about refurbing them. Will post progress pics if any one wants them

Took one of them into Halfords and sat amongst the paints to find a colour match lmao ............settled on Fiat metallic silver

Had quite a bit of filling in of dings and scrapes to do

lovely looking alloys, use can use normal filler on alloys without problems if you make sure the surface is heavily keyed for it to grab hold of, might as well use that stuff though if you already have it.

A really nice colour I can recomend is a ford mettalic silver called foxsomething or soemthingfox. Dun my alloys in that, came out nice.

Got it through my work (Precision Engineer) ..... about £8 a pack, but took a bit of tracking down. You can get similar remetal stuff from motor factors ,but the Devcon is an Aluminium putty, so adhears/sets well to alloys and is fooking hard having just been trying to sand it

I sat in Halfords getting strange looks as I *ahem* test sprayed various paints on a wheel. The Fiat silver was almost spot on. As I already have a set of these wheels on the cav, I wanted to get a close match so if I have to use one as a spare (the original reason for trying to get a single one/set of these) then it won't be so noticeable when on.

Only thing is I won't be able to replace the Integral A2 sticker on the spoke

I got new League logo stickers made at Signarama to go on the stainless centre caps I made for the wheels on the car, but that was from a good jpeg off the net. Haven't found one for the integral yet. The ones on the car are good but don't photograph well

For me it's just the time (4 or 5 hours) and the cost of the filler, my local body shop is then going to paint the wheels for me for £20 as long as i have done the prep work. They've done a fair bit of work for me so they just want me to cover the cost of the paint and thinners.
