    front bumper

i'm trying to make a custom front bumper for my corsa using an MG ZR front, I know how i'm gonna attach it and all, but I got the bumper for free as the car was is a frontal crash and part of the bumper is missing.

How would I clone the good side and flip it aound to fit the damaged side?

you can see a piccy of the bumper i got here --> http://www.team-ignition.ws4f.us/gal...hp?image_id=95

yeah, but how do i get a mirror image of it??? i was thinking, may sound really stupid, but cover the good side in some kind of grease and then smuther it in silicone or some rubberie stuff, then when its tried peeling it off and carefully turning it inside out and then that should give me an exact mirror???

yeh what you want is something like rubber you can turn inside out, their's something I used in art college that would be ideal I got from a craft shop, can't remember what it's called though : 0[

lol you sure this is a good idea? alot of work you got their (and money) bet it'll cost you less just to buy the bumper new. fibreglass is not cheap atall

i got a 5 litre tin of premix fiberglass where you just add the hardener for £12 and same size tin of easy to use filler for same price, also have a mate who owns a body shop... so hopefully he'll let me pinch a bit on unmashed figerglass i can stick in first.

The MG bumper I got was free, went to the scrappy after one with the other side ***ked to living hell ans they were wanting around £100 so I'm sure I can fix this one up for under £100 and if it all works out and goes well I'll try taking an impression of it, and spin a few off and flog 'em on ebay for lik £75 each or more depending on how much it costs to make!
