Bucket seats?

ok....looking at buckets for my car, decided that i like the cobra imola.
its supportive etc....
one question:-
its a side mount seat, does this mean it has to stay fixed in one seat, or can you still slide it torwards and back?

You need side mounts to fit it but you then fit them to the original sliders or buy the ones from Cobra!!

We made our own brackets to mount our Cobra Suzuka's on the original sliders out of our Nova!!

do you need adapters made up to get the side mount to fit to the original slider?
will the seats not sit hihgh up with a slider and a side mount?

You actually sit lower in the bucket seats in ours as the seats are mounted lower than the thick normal seat bases!!

Mount the seats as low as you can when you use side mounts, and they should be fine!!

ok cheers for that, how easy was it to make your own side mounts? dont supose you have pics?

No bother!! We made ours out of 3mm thick mild steel sheet, measured the dimensions, drew them on the plate then cut them out using a hacksaw and filed them, got them welded to the original subframes and painted them black!
