Why would I want to buy that? I am building a PV show car that will ripped appart and put back together, so I don't need a mint exsample, in a colour I don't need, with alloys I don't like and an engine thats inferior to my current one, that will be sold in favour of a 3.0 v6!

***kin hell!! Shoot me down in flames why don't you

In case you missed it the car had a full feature in total vauxhall early last year, and yes the engine may be inferior, but i bought and modded the car when i was 19/20 so isurance was a big issue.

Why a v6, they're ****!! Turbo is most definately the way forward!

Even an 8v turbo would cream the pants of a 3.0 v6 calibra

I don't think so some how. I am building a rwd car and I prefer smooth torque to bhp, and you don't provide any reasoning behind your rather blunt critque of the v6 engine. 204 bhp and no lag in my books is good stuff and v6's sound better

I am 19, and once I have done PV and a cpl of other show's + maybe a PV feature if I finish the project a tuned 2.0 8v engine will be going in consisting of a 2.0 block and 18E + a few other mods.

The reason the V6 is not the best engine is that in standard form it produces the majority of its power between 4000 - 5500 rpm. It also suffers with heat exchangers failing and bleeding oil into the water. I can understand your reasoning behind wanting a V6 but don't neccesarily nock other engine alternatives.

it's just easiest for the engine conversion, turbo's are way to high maintanence and cost to much as well.

because you decided to offer me your car in a styleing thread and I listed the reasons why I didn't want it... if you look back through the thread you will see that.

Your car doesnt even look like it has a body kit?

Only the custom front bumper. I'm a firm believer in "less is more"

Not against bodykits, just not a fan of huge pointy things, kingdom, delta, etc. No offence anyone

Love your Calibra se4. Imho I think your right when you say less is more, especially with the calibra. I don't recognise those wheels, what are they? And I reckon that is the best colour Vaux have produced (apart from my respray in Vauxhall Rio Verde Dark Green )
