    I never said they weren't. Pics above show two different ways of illuminating, one using two plug ang play leds, one using several 5mm leds placed around the panel for better illumination.
    This is the panel with two p+p leds fitted..

    The bulbs are a simple mini-wedge type... your 'traditional' plug'n'play type bulb isn't a straight swap into there.

    "Traditional" yes, but the mini wedge are still classed as "plug and play"
