    Astra 'F' rims...

Body is going fairly smooth with loss of rubstrips etc, some rieger bits, GSi grille...

...but I can't decide what rims to go for? Am looking for 17's, max spending (inc. tyres) of £750 to £800ish - but the cheaper the better really...

    I like these so far:

    Any idea's?

As I said mate, cheap as possible....lol

Deep dish would be lovely, but it's also rather expensive.

I got my alloys from motorworld for £500 with tyres.

I think they really suit the car. Your only problem with deep dish rims is a 17 will look like a 16. If your wanting big rims go for a 17 with spokes to the edges.

check these out for some cheap alloys. They come balanced and everything you just need to find a local place

Ooh, smart those - cheers mate!

How much trouble is it to remove side rubbing strip's? Are they just glued on or will i need to break out the wleder to fill holes?

HOT (!!!!) water and an arm is all you need. Just heat them up they will pull off. be carefulk make sure you heat them up though otherwise you will pull off the paint. Simple job but the left over glue can be a bitch. again hot water and a cloth just rub them out.

i had mine smoothed though so the groove that runs down the carf was taken out. Cost a couple of hundred per side including near fulll respray so was a good deal.
