hey i 17 an just boguth me first car its a 1993 corsa b an i need sum rims for it. I bin tinkin bout 17" but are these ok? ill need 2 get my arches flared ownt i?? an wat size rims do yaz recomend.

first of all, get a dictionary. Then get some 17s with as near to et49 as poss and 7J and you'll be fine

most vauxhalls are ET49-45 anything less and u will have trouble.. so im told.. my mk3 astra was running 17's ET38 but it wasnt lowered so i had no trouble

The ET of the wheel is the distance from the hub to the inner hub of the wheel...? (correct me if I am wrong)

ET49 is the furthest in you can get. If you had the right PCD (distance between the wheel bolt holes on the wheel) for a Vaux and an ET of, say, 30, the wheels would stick out 19mm more from the car then the same wheel with an ET49.

And please type properly. You have a keyboard and not predictive texting on a mobile. You will get less 'CHAV' remarks if you type in english, not txtcode.

But 17's on a standars corsa look outta place. Honestly, 15's are so cheap now and when you can get a bit of body styling done, get the 17's.
