Fibre glass resin behind the crack and then some body filler on top to smoothe it over would probably be the best bet.

the "pitting" is where the filler has sunk, where not all of it was dry,
best thing to do is rub it right down and re smooth it,
and as said above, fiberglass on the back and front of the crack, then a skim of filler over the front to smooth.

yup, exactly. Brace it at the back (most common way being with fibreglass) once it's all rigid and sturdy uPol filler (big yellow tin)! Had to do this with my bonnet underneath at the back (brace it with fibreglass).

Really ain't as bad as it looks, should be an easy fix, hardest part is getting the strength into it for it not to flex.

I'd be tempted to use fibreglass at the back then get it all smooth so u can see what your working with then if it's a big space needs fillign use P40 on the front (filler with fibreglass in it sort of) then filler on top (shouldn't build the filelr up much)

You will have to get a good key at the back of the damage (stiff wire wheel on a grinder) and degrease with panal wipe..

Cut some alu mesh so it sticks about 6" ether side of the crack now degrease the alu mesh and duck tape the mesh at both edges to hold it down ...also duck tape the front of the crack to keep the bumper flush

Now mix up some P40 and force the Glass Fibre Paste through the mesh try and get the P40 as flat as possible ..when the P40 paste is set remove the tape and cover with polyester resin and glass matting and paint on as much polyester resin as it will hold you can add more layers of mat and resin if you whant this will give a good strong back brace ..now fill and sand the front with what you like ..Polyester Resin .. Bumper Filler then Stopper if needed..

    Aluminium Mesh £0.65
Small Fibre Glass Repair Kit £6.00
    P40 Glass Fibre Filler £4.90
