Interior Help Desperatly Needed On Red Nova

Ive got a red nova and the inside is pants. Grey plastic awful grey seats and so forth. The thing is i want it to look nice but im on a very tight budget. I was thinking of recovering the door panels in black fabric and covering the head liner but is it difficult. I know very little about cars but money wise i need a diy job. Can anyone give any tips. Thanx

on the door cards u can staple the back of them, and use dub sided tape,
headlines i think will need to be glued on maybe, or stiched on over the original,
    thats how mines being done,
with the grey plastic, you can get interior paint,or use halfords car paint, with lots of lacquer,
or change your dash to a mk2 gsi black dash, like i have.

I wouldn't touch the headliner Its just a ballache to mod in anyway - i tried
Doorcards are easy enough to recover just don't use too heavy a fabric as it makes it hard to get the cards to sit right, take your time and do one at a time
