    Bigmouth Cav Gsi Bumper Help

    Hey

Decided to bigmouth my spare cav gsi bumper and see how it turns out but need a bit of help already.....

At the back of the bumper there is a metal bar that runs along the back with 2 bits that look like attaching brackets - do I just cut through this and will it still fit on ok?? or should this still be on the car intact and someone has taken the bumper off wrong.

The brackets will still be there just a chunk of metal where the bigmouth is will be gone

Only asking because I got the bumper from ebay.....

The metal bar is the strength of the bumper, without it the bumper will be weak.

i done mine last week i left the bar in and put the mesh right to the front the bar makes it a lot stronger last time i done it i cut the bar out and wish i never did

aslong as you get a fine mesh you cant even see the bumper bracket when its all finished

Will chop away the old exess front plastic tonight so the mesh sits near flush with the front of the bumper as per the pic above.

Will post a few pictures on Monday after she has been sprayed up

    Cheers folks
