Alloys
I've been offered some TSW Reflex alloys off a Renault Megane, will they fit on my cali properly? I know they are the same PCD but are they the same ET?
Cheers!

Re: Alloys
Renaults are normaly ET35
-
Re: Alloys
will they be ok on my cali then since i know it's about et 49 isnt it?
-
Re: Alloys
Depends what size they are,
Upto 17's will fit but it will drive horible and tramline (Follow ruts and marks in the road)
Also will wear wheel bearings quicker as the centre of the wheel is further out than standard

Re: Alloys
crap :/ it thought you might say that, guess i'll scrap the idea of some ebay 17" TSW reflex's
what ET range should I be looking for?
EDIT: Are there any sites that list the ET's to save me keep asking on my quest to find the right alloy

Re: Alloys
As above
Et45-ET49 and upto 7 1/2" wide max with about a 215 or 205 40 or 45 tyre

Re: Alloys
there ya go remus that shud solve ur problem..

Re: Alloys
sorry for the hijack but Lee du know if et 45 18's with 235/30 tyres will go on a cav?
-
Re: Alloys
They should just fit on the rears but 225's rub the arches on the front if you are turning and hit a bump.
I have removed about an inch of the platic arch and most of the arch lip and they are ok now (Just) on the front.

Re: Alloys
cheers - so I guess lowering it on them would be stupid! Presumably I could take it somewhere and get them to sort the arches tho? So beyond a bit of rolling they should be fine? Just keep thinking of the handling benefits of 235 wide rubber hehe

Re: Alloys
ok i'm thinking about buying some bk 7 spokes, but I don't understand what the JJ bit of this is?
17x7JJ & +35
so they are 17" diameter, 7" wide and have an ET of 35 but the guy can't find anything to do with the pcd fitment :/ he said they are multi fitment and have 10 stud holes, do you reckon they will fit?
-
Re: Alloys
Yes they are as you said.
Even though they are multi fit they are drilled for 2 PCD's only so you need to find out what.
-
Re: Alloys
ahh good stuff, do you know what does the JJ bit means? I'll email him again to ask what car they were fitted too (2nd time i've asked him now).
EDIT: Nvm the same guy sells 10mm spacers too
